We receive multiple inquiries each week by various groups requesting donations and sponsorships. While we would like to contribute to all of these organizations, it simply isn’t possible. In keeping with the philosophy of Gus Pieters, the founder of Peters’ Drive-In, we have focused our charitable efforts on “children in need”. To that end, we can confirm that we do our best to be a good corporate citizen by providing numerous donations to underprivileged children. For example, each year we donate 4,500 meals to the Calgary Fireman’s Christmas event for underprivileged children. Other examples include our support of the Calgary Junior Police Academy; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary; and the Alberta Motor Association School Safety Patrol. These efforts help our communities become stronger and safer and we very much enjoy participating in these endeavours!
